Physiotherapy

All sports injuries, back & neck injuries, post-operative rehab and general physiotherapy. Costs vary depending on the treatment - approximately R915 for the initial assessment and treatment if an hour is available, 45min sessions cost between R810-850, may be more if reports are required. Costs approximately within 10-15% Medical Aid rates. Payment is required after each session, card or cash accepted.

Run Analysis

A comprehensive analysis including biomechanical and movement screening, running video analysis (barefoot & trainers) and follow up session to implement recommendations. Analysis includes 2 separate appointments plus all the video analysis, reports and personalised run form correction & strength programs. Bring run trainers and wear fitted training gear (different colour top to shorts).
Approximately 1/3rd of the total cost can be claimed on Medical Aid.

Parys qualified from Wits University in 2000 and has since amassed a wealth of experience in sports physiotherapy, including 5 years as the England u20 Women's Football physio, London 2012 Olympics, Comrades Marathon, FINA World Championships, and numerous other elite sporting events.
Parys played SA Senior Provincial and Junior National hockey and 6 years at Leicester WHC in the English Premiere League. She then won 2 Triathlon World Championships and multiple European & British titles as an amateur, before embarking on a successful Professional career racing for Great Britain.
Parys combines her extensive work and athletic experience with passion and energy to every patient she sees.
